Architecture and Lighting design by Foster + Partners

1,588 mtrs of Radiant’s 3D LED Flex 25 and 3D LED Flex 100 Systems were specified to provide wall-grazing illumination for the public circulation areas in the Foster and Partners designed Lusail Towers in Qatar. Both IP20 interior and IP66 exterior versions of the 3D LED Flex system were supplied for use in a range of locations within the project. Both surface-mount fixed-angle and adjustable-angle brackets were used, to suit project requirements. The systems are flexible in 3 dimensions allowing them to bend and twist, and follow the complex curved profiles of the four towers.

3D LED Flex 25 type: each module comprises 2x high power LEDs with elliptical beam lenses. Single-blade anti-glare snoots ensure excellent visual comfort. Custom powder-coat finishes were specified, allowing the system to integrate into the architecture as seamlessly as possible. With the 100mm modules spaced at a 125mm pitch, the system provides up to 3,500 Lumens per mtr.

3D LED Flex 100 type: each module comprises 4x high power LEDs with elliptical beam lenses. With the 100mm modules spaced at a 100mm pitch, the system provides up to 7,000 Lumens per mtr.
